Made with wheat fine flour, wheat flour (supports gut health), cow ghee, ajwain (carom seeds), whole black pepper (as a removable topping), and sea salt - nothing else.

Our Mathris (Matthis) are prepared 100% with cow ghee (clarified butter), no oil used at all. Cow ghee is considered to provide omega-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), supporting heart health and metabolism.

Palmolein and hydrogenated oils oxidize at a much faster rate than cow ghee, which can be detrimental to health. Cow ghee has much higher smoking point than the oils. Since oils oxidize rapidly, we take pride in delivering our Mathri made with cow ghee to customers with virtually no oxidation, ensuring maximum freshness and nutritional value.

These Mathris are made with less salt and spices than most other brands, offering a lighter and more natural flavor. Simply open the box and enjoy them as a wholesome snack. For added taste, pair them with your favorite pickles or accompaniments.

Why is our Mathri more expensive than other brands?

1) We use high-quality cow ghee instead of cheap palmolein oil or hydrogenated oils. Notably, cow ghee is 8-12 times more expensive than those oils.

2) All the ingredients in our Mathri are pure, which are 4-6 times more expensive than conventional ones.

3) We air ship our sweets and snacks from India to our USA store, arriving in just 2-3 days. In contrast, other brands use ocean shipping, which can take 45-60 days. This allows us to ship our products to customers within 3 days of manufacturing, ensuring they receive the freshest products possible. While air shipping is more expensive, our priority is delivering the best quality to our customers.
